Hey boys and girls. I hope that you're all well.
As my title suggest, I have a lot of things to talk about. So, without further ado, let's get started with the biggest topic of all:
Donald Trump as President
So, as we all know, Donald Trump has won the US Presidential Election, and is to be the new President for the USA, following on from possibly the greatest President that the US may ever have (personally), Barack Obama.
At first, I thought it was a joke. I was like: "WHAT!? You can't be serious!"
Turns out, it was serious. It wasn't a joke. What's my opinion on the election, you may ask? And my opinion on Trump himself?
Well, I'm not sure what to say about Mr. Trump. I mean, if one thing's for sure, he certainly wants to build his wall around Mexico (even though if what I read was correct - 34% of 'whatever-the-category-which-included-Mexicans-was' voted for Trump. It's really hard to say how he will be as President.
But, I will say this: I do have hope. I believe that he can be a good President. It just depends on whether he wants to be. As for the election, I'm not sure if either candidate would have been a good choice as President. With the news about those emails and the private server (or whatever it was) and everything, I think that Hillary Clinton was hiding something. If she was, maybe Donald Trump was the better choice out of the two?
It's really hard to say at the moment. But, only time will tell...

My Two Week Hiatus
Yep. The title reads correctly. From Saturday the 12th, up to Wednesday the 23rd, I am going to be taking some time off of FIMFiction. For those of you which eagerly wait for the next chapter of Ponies at Dawn, Monsters at Dusk or the fourth chapter of Fluttershy's Secret, I'm afraid you'll have to wait for them.
You see, I've got mock exams coming up, and I really need to be focused on revising for them and stuff. As a result, I will be unable to write or plan anything for my stories until they are over. Sadly, this won't be my only 'hiatus'... I've got another week of mocks in February, then at around mid May to near the end of June, I have my real exams.
Gulp.
This means that I'm really going to have to get my head down, and do the one thing I never really have done before, or at least not for very much and very well before... REVISION.
Anyhoo, I promise that as soon as they are over, I'll have a welcome back post and (hopefully) some more writing for my stories ready. I can't wait for that moment!
A final farewell to a certain Mister Phoenix
As many of you may also be aware, a user is leaving us. That user is Mister Phoenix. Some of you may be devastated, others may be happy, some probably don't even know who he is.
For me, I'm upset. But at the same time, I'm ok with it too.
We all must make important choices in life. If you lose interest in something, yet you still write fanfiction for it, you'll probably find yourself asking the question:
Is this really worth it?
I read on his goodbye blog that he wants to be a police man. Well, good luck with that, is all I'm saying (no seriously, good luck).
Also, I read on the same blog about him feeling 'bitter' about a story idea that he came up with.
Sure, he might have come up with the plot for my Ponies at Dawn, Monsters at Dusk story, but I said that the story was dedicated to him (credit for coming up with the idea and stuff too), and I'm pretty sure he said he was cool with me writing it.
So, if he chooses to hold some sort of grudge against me, it's pointless, and a big waste of his time. I said this on his blog, and I'll say it here too - as a good friend of mine once said:
Holding grudges is pointless. You'll never be able to move on in life if you can't just forgive and forget.
Maybe the last part can be scrapped, but you get what I mean. Holding a grudge proves nothing. Especially when you have allowed someone to do a certain thing, you just make yourself look silly.

Anyhoo, sorry for dragging this blog on. It's just that I've had a lot to post about here. But, rest be assured, no matter what happens, FlutterDash will always be a part of me: more FlutterDashie stuff will be written on my account: and I will make sure that I am remembered for being a great & kind, friendly and banter-filled user.
