Removed that soul-destroying cover image

After a few days, it seems I committed the ultimate crime against posting a fimfiction: I blew 10 hours on a piece of cover art I thought was cute, but have been informed that it probably is only slightly worse than art that uses Ponymaker art.

Well, fine. I'll just put it on my FurAffinity account, leaving me to ponder: should I ever attempt MLP/Expansion art again?

Yes, you should do more art, because it had time and effort put in, more time and effort put in than any piece of pony maker art, and that time and effort is important.

I'll admit to being acerbic in my critique, probably excessively so, but time and effort are important, beyond any skill.

I'd love to see your art get better and that is partially why I'm so harsh to people. We should all be our own worst critics, but it's hard to admit to our own flaws sometimes, so along comes piss-drunk Scottish Wind King to tear down what we're proud of, before he gives us a hug and reminds us not to give up, because next time we'll do better and damn that drunken fuck if he dares to say otherwise.

I'm an asshole yes, I'm proud of my assholery, but I do these critiques, editing, pre-reading, reviews, and other things because I want to see the world improve.

Why do mediocre when you can do awesome?
