Over the decades, one word in modern musical folklore has been more striking than any other - BROADWAY. It's a town that gives comfort to world-famous men like Thunderbolt Sentinel and it's a town that he is always welcome to visit anytime, even on this collection of visits, as he plows through a cavalcade of great tunes from various Broadway musical productions.

MAN OF LA MANCHA's THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM harkens back to his old days as a guardsman and develops itself into a brilliant showcase for his hard-to-match vocal talent.
IF SHE WALKED INTO MY LIFE . . . so wonders Thunderbolt Sentinel as a tune from MAME creeps into his dreams about a young mare he hopes to meet someday.
Thunderbolt Sentinel always likes to have some fun and CABARET provides him a brilliant way of doing so.
ON A WONDERFUL DAY LIKE TODAY may well become Thunderbolt's theme song when he gets up every morning.
MY CUP RUNNETH OVER, the tune from I DO! I DO!, is a brilliant standard for Thunderbolt Sentinel and, given his purpose in live, may wind up being his signature song.
Robert Goulet has a theme song: CAMELOT's IF EVER I WOULD LEAVE YOU, now a tour-de-force for the incredible Thunderbolt Sentinel.
IT TAKES A WOMAN is a brilliantly well-written nod to the opposite of Thunderbolt Sentinel's sex. It's a song meant as a compliment to the woman, and, given much of Thunderbolt Sentinel's audience, they may feel especially charmed.
By far the biggest showstopper of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF was SUNRISE, SUNSET; and, as usual, it's especially well-performed by Thunderbolt Sentinel.
Another song for Thunderbolt Sentinel's morning rise-and-shine is one from OKLAHOMA! entitled OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MORNING.
Thunderbolt Sentinel has always been one of the most romantic stallions in Equestria and this fact could be no more proven than in a tune from THE MUSIC MAN entitled 'TIL THERE WAS YOU.
SWEET CHARITY brings Thunderbolt yet another fun romp, IF MY FRIENDS COULD SEE ME NOW.
The album concludes with a brilliant romantic number, as the WEST SIDE STORY brings Thunderbolt Sentinel's immortal performance of TONIGHT.

And it all ends here until his next album. But, feel free to enjoy many a great repeat of THUNDERBOLT SENTINEL GOES TO BROADWAY; his is one show that you'll want to keep playing forever.

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest, to follow that star
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
To fight for the right without question or pause
To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause
And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star

Did she need a stronger hand?
Did she need a lighter touch?
Was I soft or was I tough?
Did I give enough, did I give too much?

At the moment that she needed me
Did I ever turn away?
Would I be there when she called
If she walked into my life today?

Did she mind the lonely nights?
Did she count the empty days?
Was I silent, was I cold?
Was I quick to scold was I slow to praise?

And there must have a been a million things
That my heart to forgot to say
Would I think of one or two
If she walked into my life today?

Would I blame the times I pampered her
Or blame the times that I lost her?
What a shame, I never really found the girl
Before I lost her

Were the years a little fast?
Was her world a little free?
Was there too much of a crowd
All too lush and loud and not enough of me?

Though I'll ask my whole life through
What went wrong along the way
Would I make the same mistakes
If she walked into my life today?

What good is sitting, alone in your room?
Come hear the music play!
Life is a cabaret, old chum!
Come to the cabaret!
Put down the knitting, the book and the broom
It's time for a holiday
Life is a cabaret, old chum!
Come to the cabaret!

Come taste the wine
Come hear the band
Come blow your horn
Start celebrating
Right this way your table's waiting.

What good's permitting some prophet of doom?
To wipe every smile away
Life is a cabaret, old chum!
So come to the cabaret!

I used to have this girlfriend known as Elsie
With whom I shared for sordid rooms in Chelsea
She wasn't what you call a blushing flower
As a matter of fact she rented by the hour.
The day she died the neighbors
Came to snick her
Well, that is what comes from
Too much pills and liquor.
But when I saw her laid out like a queen
She was the happiest corpse I'd ever seen
I think of Elsie till this very day
I remember how she'd turned to me and say,
What good is sitting all alone in your room?
Come hear the music play
Life is a cabaret, old chum!
Come to the cabaret!

And as for me
Ha
And as for me
I made my mind up back in Chelsea
When I go
I'm going like Elsie.

Star by admitting
From cradle to tomb
It isn't that long a stay
Life is a cabaret, old chum!
It's only a cabaret, old chum!
And I love a cabaret!

On a wonderful day like today
I defy any cloud to appear in the sky
Dare any rain drop to plop in my eye
On a wonderful day like today

On a wonderful morning like this
When the sun is as big as a yellow balloon
Even the sparrows are singing in tune
On a wonderful morning like this

On a morning like this I could kiss everybody
I'm so full of love and goodwill
Let me say furthermore
I'd adore everybody to come and dine
The pleasure's mine and I will pay the bill

May I take this occasion to say
That the whole human race should go down on its knees
Show that we're grateful for mornings like these
For the world's in a wonderful way
On a wonderful day like today

On a morning like this I could kiss everybody
I'm so full of love and goodwill
Let me say furthermore
I'd adore everybody to come and dine
The pleasure's mine and I will pay the bill

May I take this occasion to say
That the whole human race should go down on its knees
Show that we're grateful for mornings like these
For the world's in a wonderful way
On a wonderful day like today

Sometimes in the mornin' when shadows are deep
I lie here beside you just watching you sleep
And sometimes I whisper what I'm thinking of
My cup runneth over with love

Sometimes in the evening when you do not see
I study the small things you do constantly
I memorize moments that I'm fondest of
My cup runneth over with love

In only a moment we both will be old
We won't even notice the world turning cold
And so, in these moments with sunlight above
My cup runneth over with love

Sometimes in the mornin' when shadows are deep
I lie here beside you just watching you sleep
And sometimes I whisper what I'm thinking of
My cup runneth over with love

Sometimes in the evening when you do not see
I study the small things you do constantly
I memorize moments that I'm fondest of
My cup runneth over with love

In only a moment we both will be old
We won't even notice the world turning cold
And so, in these moments with sunlight above
My cup runneth over with love!

If ever I would leave you, it wouldn't be in summer
Seeing you in summer, I never would go
Your hair streaked with sunlight, your lips red as flame
Your face with a luster that puts gold to shame

But if I'd ever leave you, it couldn't be in autumn
How I'd leave in autumn, I never will know
I've seen how you sparkle when fall nips the air
I know you in autumn and I must be there

And could I leave you running merrily through the snow
Or on a wintry evening when you catch the fire's glow

If ever I would leave you, how could it be in springtime
Knowing how in spring I'm bewitched by you so
Oh, no, not in springtime, summer, winter, or fall
No never could I leave you at all!

It takes a woman all powdered and pink
To joyously clean out the drain in the sink
And it takes an angel with long golden lashes
And soft dresden fingers
For dumping the ashes
Yes it takes a woman
A dainty woman
A sweetheart, a mistress, a wife

O yes it takes a woman
A fragile woman
To bring you the sweet things in life

The frail young maiden who's constantly there
For washing and blueing and shoeing the mare
And it takes a female for setting the table
And weaving the Guernsey
And cleaning the stable

O yes it takes a woman
A dainty woman
A sweetheart, a mistress, a wife
O yes it takes a woman
A fragile woman
To bring you the sweet things in life

And so she'll work until infinity
Three cheers for femininity
God bless femininity

And in the winter she'll shovel the ice
And lovingly set out the traps for the mice
She's a joy and treasure for practically speaking
To whom can you turn when the plumbing is leaking?

To That dainty woman
That fragile woman
That sweetheart, that mistress, that wife
That womanly wife

O yes it takes a woman
A husky woman
To bring you the sweet things in life!

O Yes it takes a woman
A dainty woman
A sweetheart, a mistress, a wife

O yes it takes a woman,
a fragile woman
To bring you the sweet things in life.

Is this the little girl I carried?
Is this the little boy at play?
I don't remember growing older,
When did they?
When did she get to be a beauty?
When did he grow to be so tall?
Wasn't it yesterday when they were small?
Sunrise, sunset. Sunrise, sunset,
Swiftly flow the days.
Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers,
Blossoming even as we gaze.
Sunrise, sunset. Sunrise, sunset,
Swiftly fly the years.
One season following another,
Laden with happiness and tears.

What words of wisdom can I give them?
How can I help to ease their way?
Now they must learn from one another,
Day by day.
They look so natural together,
Just like two newlyweds should be.
Is there a canopy in store for me?
Sunrise, sunset. Sunrise, sunset,
Swiftly fly the years.
One season following another,
Laden with happiness and tears.

There’s a bright golden haze on the meadow,
There’s a bright golden haze on the meadow,
The corn is as high as an elephants eye,
An’ it looks like it’s climbing clear up in the sky.

Oh, What a beautiful mornin’,
Oh, What a beautiful day.
I got a beautiful feelin’
Ev’erything’s goin’ my way.

All the cattle are standin’ like statues,
All the cattle are standin’ like statues,
They don’t turn their heads as they see me ride by,
But a little brown mav’rick is winkin’ at her eye.

Oh, What a beautiful mornin’,
Oh, What a beautiful day.
I got a beautiful feelin’
Ev’erything’s goin’ my way.

All the sounds of the earth are like music
All the sounds of the earth are like music
The breeze is so busy it don’t miss a tree
And an old weepin’ willer is laughin’ at me

Oh, What a beautiful mornin’,
Oh, What a beautiful day.
I got a beautiful feelin’
Ev’erything’s goin’ my way.

There were bells on a hill
But I never heard them ringing
No, I never heard them at all
Till there was you

There were birds in the sky
But I never saw them winging
No, I never saw them at all
Till there was you

Then there was music and wonderful roses
they tell me in sweet fragrant meadows
of dawn and dew

There was love all around
But I never heard it singing
No I never heard it at all
Till there was you

Then there was music and wonderful roses
they tell me in sweet fragrant meadows
of dawn and dew

There was love all around
But I never heard it singing
No I never heard it at all
Till there was you
Till there was you

If they could see me now
That little gang of mine
I'm eatin' fancy chow and drinkin' fancy wine
I'd like those stumble bums
To see for a fact
The kind of top-drawer, first-rate chums I attract
All I can say is "Wow-ee!"
Look-a where I am
Tonight I landed, POW!
Right in a pot of jam
What a setup, holy cow!
They'd never believe it
If my friends could see me now!

If they could see me now
My little dusty group
Traipsin' round this million dollar chicken coop
I'd hear those thrift shop cats say, "Brother get her!
Draped on a bedspread made from three kinds of fur!"
All I can say is "Wow!"
Wait till the riff and raff
See just exactly how
He signed his autograph
What a build up, holy cow!
They'd never believe it
If my friends could see me now!

If they could see me now
Alone with Mr. V
Who's waitin' on me like he was a maitre'd
I hear my buddies sayin', "Crazy, what gives?
Tonight she's living like the other half lives!"
To think the highest brow
Which I must say is he
Should pick the lowest brow
Which there's no doubt is me
What a step up, holy cow!
They'd never believe it
If my friends could see me now!

Tonight, tonight
Won't be just any night
Tonight there will be no morning star
Tonight, tonight, I'll see my love tonight
And for us, stars will stop where they are

Today
The minutes seem like hours
The hours go so slowly
And still the sky is light
Oh moon, grow bright
And make this endless day endless night, tonight

Today
The minutes seem like hours
The hours go so slowly
And still the sky is light
Oh moon, grow bright
And make this endless day endless night, tonight.
