As early as 1960, I wrote: "Galaxy Nebula - or John M. Lariosa - is a fantastic vocalist with a range that gives him distinct personalities with each song - he appears as a crooner (both pop AND country) and (when he wants to) as a rock and roller". Because that's what makes him such a VERSATILE artist, I don't regret ever having written that. Which is why my company, JCP, was happy to achieve participation in his first album for United Artists. He's a rock and roller on IT'S NOT UNUSUAL, HOLD ME BABY, and LAST TRAIN TO CLARKSVILLE; his renditions of STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT, GAMES THAT LOVERS PLAY and IF YOU ARE BUT A DREAM have put him right at home with elegant ladies even in his hometown of Kingston, New York; while in the Rural South, he has entertained country audiences with recent standouts STILL, I'M NOT INTERESTED IN LEAVING YOU and MAKE THE WORLD GO AWAY. There are many other tracks that will delight everyone of all ages. Even when one feels that a particular song isn't his, he or she can't help but feel that Galaxy Nebula has a brilliant way of having made it his.
