Good times, good times.... · 4:25pm Sep 17th, 2012
Well, I just got back from Midwestria, and boy are my hooves tired!
No, seriously. Anybody who saw me limping around that place knows that my cane was my bestest best friend ever, and even that wasn't enough.
On the bright side, my panels went swimmingly (at least I thought so). There was a teeny, tiny little scheduling mixup, and the last half-hour of my panel on "Finding the Fun Stuff" turned into the first half-hour of my Rule 34 panel. Fortunately, the audience was still over 18, and we did keep the door half-closed to try and minimize the collateral damage!
So, panels were hosted, arts were bought (particularly by my brother, who bought original arts more than prints, but the prints I bought are going to be lovely additions to the collections!), and... yes, I finally bought myself a full-sized pony. From now on, all hecklers at my panels shall be fed to the great and powerful CUTETHULHU!
I'll try and take a picture some time, but Cutethulhu is going to be this year's first major cube decoration for the Halloween season.
Oh... and I believe that I shared an elevator with M.A. Larson during his sobriety.
I also told him that I was the sick SOB who'd been hosting the Grimdark panel.
It could've been worse, I suppose, I could have confessed that I was *going* to be the sick SOB hosting the Rule 34 panel!
At any rate, I'm back home, revved up and ready to roll with story ideas!
Now, if only I could actually finish them and get them published....
What's so bad about grimdark?
Note that by "full-sized pony" I mean a G1-scale pony figure. Not one that needs a stable.
Oh, nothing really. But the guy who brought us the Cutie Mark Chronicles doesn't need to know how many of us are convinced that Pinkie suffered some sort of abuse, now does he?
You bought the Cthulhu pony? I wanted that thing so bad lol
