Don't let people stop you from using creativity. Some may be bad, some may be dreadful, but that's the thing with creativity. You create ways to make it even better. That's the creative truth.

Anti-Military People At School · 5:29pm Oct 6th, 2016

Don't why they're here, but they ain't welcome. Seriously, it's kind of dumb to think the military should be done for. The day we end the military is the day others will make their own. The day the others make their own, the day we're all screwed.

If not for all the lives who've volunteered to serve our country, America, well...I'd better not dive into that little detail.

God Bless America!

Active Duty Army here- currently on my first deployment, just had my 1 year anniversary last week. America may be in what's known as "peacetime" right now since we're not actively engaging any enemy right now, but from what I'm told by the older guys in my unit and what I see in the country I'm in, I can promise you-

You have no idea how bad people can be. I mean it, you really have no idea what a person can do to another person. I've got a buddy who was in Afghanistan in '09 and the stories he tells me are absolutely goulish. No movie is ever really gonna portray just how terrifying and violent and just how BAD it can get and you want it that way.
People who say stuff like that are either ignorant or willfully stupid. If we weren't here as a deterrent then I promise you would see unimaginable violence in your days and I am very glad that it is my job to make sure that the wicked men of the world have to literally go through me to get to you.

I'm not saying this for my own vanity or to try and get some glory- I haven't done jack-shit except train, I haven't seen combat yet. If anything, thank the ones who went before me- the guys with missing limbs and broken bodies and souls because what they've seen is beyond your imagining. Who went and fought, bled, and died so you can never have to know what it's like.

My sister is in the military training to be a nurse. It's not all about guns ya know.

Ex-Navy Nuclear Field Machinist's Mate First Class. I served on a carrier for some time, and I can say seeing a potentially hostile situation between two nations or factions come to a screeching halt just because we pulled up tells me it's all worth it.

There's a reason why the military exists. To protect the country.

Currently Active Duty Army as an intel systems maintainer/integrater, i joined bcuz i wanted to do my part and also follow the footsteps of my dad and the several generations of both sides of family that served in the army (surprisingly just army). It does piss me off when anti-military people go on rants about us doing this and us doing that, but when you look at the grand scheme of things from my perspective that well...sadly i cant share due to..."complications" it would practically shut their mouths when i pretty much give them hard solid evidence as to why we exist and as to why we do what we have to do sometimes, even if its for someone else bcuz they cant do it themselves, uk who im talking to, but i appreciate what we do overall and i glady support everyone who gives their support for us day by day
HOOAH!
(or this chant bcuz of the unit im in) AIYEE-AH!

Not a soldier, but also not stupid enough to think that we need to get rid of the military. We need it like we need the right to bear arms.

what type of anti-military policy are they starving for?
