Updates on stuff! Including My Little Rainbows!

Well, now that I have a Patreon account (hint hint), I feel I should be giving a few more updates on progress and such on a more regular basis so people now that I'm actually doing stuff. So here goes...

I have actually been doing stuff! Amazing, I know! I'm know why, but I'll get to that.

Firstly and mostly: MY LITTLE RAINBOWS!

This is coming along swimmingly. I may not have written anything yet but I'm on STAGE 2 of the rewrite, which is the detailed plan so I know what the hell I'm writing and when everything happens. Using the chronologicon (because I forgot the word timeline) I wrote I can now keep everything in a logical order and be continuous with my story, and this helps a whole bunch.
So far in Stage 2 I'm on Year 7 out of 20 for the detailed plan, which covers a whole bunch of stuff such as their birth, their first week at school and Rainbow falling in love (aww isn't that nice?). so you have a lot to look forward to.
At the current rate I should finish Stage 2 by the end of October, which would be swell. Then I can FINALLY get it out of my brain! Serioulsy, it's probably unhealthy how much thought I have put into this story, even during my Hyper Hiatus, and I think it has been having an influence on me... but that's a whole other story.

As for other stuff? Well... not much actually. Until I gather enough interest in general I will be focusing mainly on My Little Rainbows and only dabbling in other projects.
However, I do have another story on the go as an attempt to get back into actually writing, because I have lost it a bit. It shouldn't take long to get back to my old level and surpass it but it will take some doing.
I'm noticing flaws in my work more. I notice patterns I use and I notice what I'm missing and what should be missed. I developed a better system of when I finish a writing session I leave comments on my work saying what was good and bad so I can over it next time and improve it as well as to get back into the frame of mind for the new session. It helps. Being critical of your own work really helps to improve your abilities.
Anyway, the new story is a crossover with...

FAIRLY ODD PARENTS!

I had the idea a few weeks ago of Big Mac getting fairy god parents when trying to crossover MLP with the theme of FOP, and then a story popped into my head where he gets these fairies but he doesn't really need them and so they get bored.
Only a short one shot, a couple thousand words maximum, but should still be good hopefully. Might try to make it a little funny, a little touching, a little heart warming. The usual.

So that's it for stories of mine currently. Don't worry, others are in the works just not as prominently as these 2. Hopefully I can actually upload something soon. In the meantime: PLANNING! I like doing that.

As I said towards the begininning of this ramble I am actually doing stuff again. This is because I am actually happy again. Like, everything is fine.
I might have to live in my hometown again with my mum and sister which isn't fun, but it's alright.
I realised today that, for the first time ever, I actually enjoy my job. 4 days a week I'm a Kitchen Assistant at a local cafe, just cooking and cleaning the subsequent mess, and I actually really enjoy it. And because this is such a big part of my life it makes me feel good.
I have time off now as well. 3 days a week I get to stay at home and do whatever I want. I don't spend my time off just waiting to go to work, I enjoy myself, whether it's doing nothing, watching a film, cleaning or, of course, writing stuff! It's really great.
I'm getting healthier! I've lost half a stone the 2 months I've been back here thanks to needing to cycle everywhere, having an active job and going to the gym. That helps the self esteem issues I've been having. I'm under 15st (210lbs) for the first time in 6 years! That's nice.
Would still like a girlfriend though. That would be nice. But you never know what's going to happen. That's next. Once that's done I'll be pretty damn funky.

So yeah, before I continue this ramble, I shall sum up stuff for you.

Writing is coming along nicely. Getting back into the groove of it. My Little Rainbows is getting there as well as a couple other.
I'm feeling better with everything thanks to this change in career giving me time for myself. Seriously, if you're feeling absolute crap and feel like you can't do the things you enjoy doing, and work unsociable, irregular hours, definitely consider a change in career.
Everything is going swimmingly.
