Good authors too, who once knew better words, Now only use four-letter words writing prose. Anything goes. :raritywink:

    New chapter is out!

Sorry for the long delay, but here it is! The last of the main characters, and one of my favorite new creations! Diamond Tiara's little sister, Creme Rich!

The More I think about it, the more the Tenth Doctor's regeneration pisses me off.... · 6:45pm Sep 27th, 2016

Let's leave aside that it's complete and total character assassination (although it IS) and focus on the fact that it never should have happened in the first fucking place. There is literally no reason he had to regenerate at that point.

Let's look at the scenario. Wilfred Mott locks himself in a chamber that will be flooded with radiation if he touches the controls. The only way to let him out is to set foot in the adjacent chamber and push a button. The problem is that when that button is pressed, the radiation will flood the chamber the presser is in, killing them.

The problem? There are a billion and one ways to be safe doing this. He could easily throw something at the panel (maybe the gun Wilf gave him at the beginning of the episode) and close the door allowing him to not have to eat the Radiation.

What's that? It might not work if the door isn't ALREADY closed? Well, fine. Go back to the TARDIS, which is in a nearby hallway, get a Hazmat suit, and press the button then.

And don't tell me that he didn't fucking have time to do that before the radiation went critical. Leaving aside the fact that IT'S A TIME MACHINE, he certainly had time to fundamentally misunderstand how regeneration worked for what seemed like an eternity.

So the last fleeting moments of the 10th Doctor are not only Craven, emo, whiny, time-consuming, masturbatory, and downright INSULTING, they are also a massive gaping plot hole.

WHY. ARE THERE PEOPLE. WHO LIKE THE END OF TIME TWO PARTER?!

Far as I know, the Daleks and the return of there creator. At least as far as I can gather from talking to people. Honestly though, I never was a huge fan of that two parter, well aside from it giving us MY first doctor, but other then that, I just found it kinda...meh, I guess.:applejackunsure:

Sorry. I am a MASSIVE Classic Doctor Who snob. Doctor Who is one of the very few things where I can legitimately say "I liked it before it was cool."

Fair enough! It's all good.

I completely agree: after he realized that Wilfred was trapped he spent a few minutes whining about how he's going to die (which is NOT what regeneration is), he EASILY had enough time to hop in the TARDIS and come back with a radiation suit.
And then AFTER he gets irradiated, he had enough time to travel around in the TARDIS and visit EVERY SINGLE COMPANION HE'S EVER HAD!?!? That radiation seems to be taking it's sweet ass time!
Could you realistically imagine David Tennant with that whiny look on his face hoping around the console and piloting the TARDIS about thirty times? I probably would have burst out laughing if they had shown that.
Spoilers for "Time of The Doctor": The Eleventh Doctor thought that has was REALLY going to die because he had used up all his regenerations, and HE handled it WAY better than Ten handled his impending regeneration
I liked the Tenth Doctor, but he really went out on a low note. That two-parter is one of my least favorite episodes in the new series, though the ending with Matt Smith is pretty great.

4230012 I'm glad I have found someone who agrees! I hope you take the time to check out my Doctor Who Crossovers!
