Miss Koi Reviews "Every Little Thing She Does" · 8:47pm Sep 25th, 2016

Okay, confession time folks: When I first saw this episode title (but it's synopsis wasn't released yet) I legitimately thought that this was going to be a strictly Fluttershy and Discord episode and exploring specifically how Discord sees Fluttershy in all her little ordinary acts:3

But curse you writers with your misleading episode titles!:0

But regardless my disappointment in this episode not being Fluttercord centered, I still really enjoyed this episode because it fulfilled one of my wishes on my Season 6 wishlist from awhile back:)

This wish was regarding Starlight Glimmer struggling with her reformation and making friends because of her ego and/or controlling tendencies as established during when she was a villain. And sure enough, that was the core of this episode which presented a perfectly understandable conflict for Starlight to face and develop her character. Oh man finally! Kinda took this season long enough:/ Is it just me or has this season hasn't really focused on developing Starlight's character as it should, especially in terms of her reformation and such?

But regardless, it's nice to see Starlight having insecurities about failing at certain activities, and thus supposedly, resulting in failing in friendship bonding experiences. Which, becomes the lesson of the episode: you don't have to be good at the same activities as your friends in order to bond with them, it's about spending time with your friends and getting know what they like, and learning about this new activity:)

It was also really cool to find out that in Equestria that you can combine spells to make new ones:D Twilight, why have you not tried this yet?!:0 No wonder Starlight is so powerful, she can make up the weakness of one spell by adding another 0-0 Twilight, you need to get on this immediately. Or else, Starlight is going to over power you. Just like in the library scene. Man, Starlight's power is seriously scary0-0

I mean, just look at that mind controlling spell she cast on the Mane Six 0-0 *shivers* The Mane Six under this mind control was soooo creepy, especially Fluttershy and Pinkie 0-0 *shivers*

I guess the biggest downfall of this episode besides the creepyness of the mind controlled Mane Six was lack of humor. Not to say that there weren't any funny moments in this episode. When the episode wanted to be funny, it can really be funny:D For example, Applejack's Spider Man quote "With great power comes a whole lot of responsibility":

And of course the Mane Six Hangover scene XD

Overall, I give this episode between 7.9 to 8 hearts out of 10 hearts (again, another episode where I'm being indecisive Nancy:P Lol!) Question for all: How did Spike and Starlight not know about the word "chillaxing" and how to do it?:/
