Miss Koi Reviews "Viva Las Pegasus"

If Loony Tunes don't satisfy your song covers needs, I'm sure that Dr.Wolf's singing can suffice;)

After being on the Equestria map in the background for years, and after years of fanfictions focused on the pony version of Las Vegas, we finally get to see Las Pegasus:) And I was surprised to see Las Pegasus to be on a cloud and be practically next door to Cloudsdale. But after truly thinking over the name "Las Pegaus" I really should have known better than to doubt the pegasus effect in the city's name itself. Lol!

I was also surprised by how bright and cheerful and fun this place actually looks, and I deeply enjoyed being surprised by this and enjoying the truly fun and creative atmosphere of this new location:D It made me giggle and chuckle just seeing how the show staff made Las Vegas so kid friendly and presented it in a manner in which kids could understand how fun Las Vegas is for adults;) Sorry to disappoint you kiddies, but...Las Vegas is definitely not a carnival/amusement park/Chuckie Cheese:P XD But dang, I miss it was!

Another thing I also enjoyed about this episode was the variety, and I mean, variety of different background ponies we got and all the fun yet quirky side characters we received:) These new ponies truly fit in with atmosphere set up for Las Pegasus and helped with the exploration of this new city <3

(I especially loved these guys:3 Give me their names now!:0 I have a feeling that they're a couple, what do you guys think? I think they are, lolXD!)

This is a shallow reason for liking this episode, but dang it, I'm a Fluttershy fan and Fluttershy was so dang cute in this episode:3! From her interaction with the pink and striped prairie dogs...

I also liked how the episode expanded more on Film and Flam's personalities and depicted them more than just con artists. Sure, they're still sneaky con artists, but they're still ponies with lives and relationships and personalities of their own. The Film and Flam are still brothers, with a relationship that is just as important as everyone' else's. We learned that Film is more of the salespony out of the two of them, while Flam is more of the show off and personality out of the two of them. Heck, even their con man powers can be used for good:0 But don't worry folks, they're not reformed;)

Oh boy, if you thought Flim and Flam were bad in their little con artist nature, than you'll be shocked to meet Mr. Gladmane: a pony to surpass Flim and Flam in terms of shadiness and slimeyness.

To me, this is probably one of the most dangerous secondary antagonists that the Mane Six have ever encountered because he uses charm, "kindness", "friendship" to his greedy benefits and tears relationships apart in terms of building a business empire. I can see this guy coming back later in the show and take revenge on Fluttershy & Applejack for ruining his business and transform into that angry, scary, non-charming version of himself that he showed later in the episode. I kinda want to see him back for another episode to open up new stories possibilities, show more of the scary side of his personality, and present more as an intellectual challenge for the Mane Six to face in terms of keeping harmony for Equestria on a more micro level.

Overall, I give this episode 7.9-8 hearts out of 10 hearts <3 (sorry, I was indecisive when it came to scoring this episode:/)
