Veldaria National Anthem - M&B:Warband Freedom Fighting Progress Report

Hey, one and all!

I would like to take a quick moment and thank Thunder-bolt for offering his editing services. Thanks, lad!

Onwards, in Mount and Blade: Warband, my victory is close at hand. I've almost raised enough troops and support to fight for my own countries freedom (The Veldarian Republic(Its actually a monarchy, there is a story behind it though)) I was sitting in class, doing nothing and bored outta my skull, I took the time to create a National Anthem for my country. It doesn't rhyme, either. Here it is:

Hail to the King!
Beauty to the Queen!
Charm to the Prince!
Grace to the Princess!
Glory to Veldaria!
Glory to the Lion!
We march to our victory,
so beware our roar!

From oppression to freedom,
our people bled for right!
From freedom to conflict,
our people fought with sword!
From conflict to catastrophe,
our people stood tall!
From catastrophe to peace,
our people danced a dance!

When the arrows darkened the sky,
our shields were raised!
When the smoke had cleared,
our oppressors laid dead!
The Lion watched the enemy flee and gave a roar,
Veldaria was born!

If the Nords or the Vaegirs,
Sarranids or the Khergits.
If the Swadians or the Rhodoks,
ever reach Heavens gates!
They will find that Veldaria,
rules it all!
