Right, so I finally stopped procrastinating and looked up some proper anatomy on equines, and they had rather tiny labia overall.
Bar from the large variation in mound shape and whatnot, and the fact they could rather often have speckles/spots like male equines are known for, they had from the human variation in size and shape. So well, dang. Guess this was what I was a tad bit afraid of of finding if I now did look. Ah well. They could have variation, but it was really rare, so I guess my "well endowed" Fluttershy running gag can keep up, even if it makes her a really, really rare occurrence. Which kinda fits well with most reactions to it.
But all and all, will have to think and ponder a bit about this. Either I humanize them both, giving stallions stiff erections and mares more labia. Or I stick more accurately and have semi-stiff for males and more "pudgy but proper" for females... I really delve too much into this aren't I? xD
So... yeah... just another regular day for me ^^' It's at least made less creepy/awkward to know there's plenty more people that are looking at horse dong for several hours, studying their anatomy to be able to accurately draw them. Granted, that is seen as "totally normal/acceptable" within certain fandoms, and while doing the opposite is somehow oddly seen as both gross and zoophilia... why you make no sense people?
Anyhow, that's all for this time, should likely release my second long ass FoE fic along with first 2 parts of a foalfiddling story, along with a glory hole one within 2 months. I really ought to learn a thing or three from Twilight and start being organized 
also, I have to get better at sleep, was up since yesterday doing... all sorts of things.

) But yeah, science! And as said, I try to be as anatomically accurate as I can. So my mares in my stories might likely get a bit of labia reduction outwardly, and instead have an inward boost, and be a lote more pudgy down there while the stallions get to keep their semi-erect penises hehe 
.Might write some more humanized with much larger outward labia, and stiffer, more human penis... still a bit tempted to, just to mess with people, write a 100 % human penis and a 100 % equine vulva on two ponies, just to point out how silly it actually is when they pull that reverse shit all the time hehe.)
Though, some of the shit that comes up is rather gross
... and it is quite disturbing how much animal penises people have photos of. Most female ones are for "medical purposes" or to show off some infection or whatever, seen rather disturbing stuff there. (that, and it's quite frustrating to find a decent "sample" picture one can use as a tutorial pic. That, along with many people apparently only see it as zoophilia if a female animal is involved, which just fizzles my common sense for me. And ofc, again with people and their contradictions
I doubt it's worse than going on Encyclopedia Dramatica and searching up 'offended'.

They did they best to get offended, skipping replies I made, just repeating themselves as their answer was legitimate (which it wasn't... it was basically a "Would you like some sandwich? - No, I am allergic to cheese. - Oh, okay, how about some peanuts? - No, I am allergic to cheese. - ok... How about some gluten-free cookies? - No, I told you, I am allergic to cheese. - ... okaaay... would you like a banana then? - NO! I told you dammit: I am allergic to cheese!") making their best effort to be allowed to be offended, being a bit of a jerk, accusing me of things, while at the same time getting angry that I am "making assumptions" about them. So yeah... I could really tell how mature they were when right after making a journal going "so apparently you are hypocritical if you disagree with someone, lolololol!" and this was a person I actually liked before. Ah well... back to writing about teenage Twilight working a glory hole...
