The Road To El Dorado

In the city of Canterlot back in the time where Celestria ruled alone having to cast the horrible Nightmare Moon into the moon making her wait there for a thousand years. The ponies were scared, having Discord, King Sombra taking away The Crytsal Empire, Lord Tirek and now Nightmare Moon. One of the princess turn evil, to say most ponies didn't want to trust in the ruler of the sun and now moon will be correct.

Times are changing if it be good or bad, that will be left up to fate and time. But for right now, the times are hard. Grown stallions and mares trying to hold they jobs. Fillies and colts, most families becoming homeless and little food coming in. It bought out the worst in most ponies.

This is the tale on how two mares became legend.

The Road To El Dorado

This tale starts at a food stand, a Earth pony stallion started to pack away his food for the day and got ready to head off home. He placed his basket of fresh apples on a small table with a blue table cloth.

The stallion thought it would be best to pack that last, little did he know a pair of eyes watched him and his movements. When the pair of eyes saw that the stallion had left to get the get the rest of his belongings. The pony under the table crawled out.

The pony is a small pegasus filly, with a orange coat seeing how she rubbed her two forelegs together greedy with her purple eyes searching which apple to take. The young filly knew that she could only take a few if she didn't want to be caught. The punishment for stealing has been worst since Nightmare Moon's defeat, the punishment is losing one of the pony who stole fore-hooves cut off.

Having thought it over the young pegasus had decided that three was the best amount to take. Her eyes moved quickly to the alleyway behide her, hearing the sound of hooves steps getting louder and louder most likely the fruit stand owner coming back to take his apples.

Shaking her head, the filly quickly took three apples and placing them in her bag before running off. It seems like the pegasus wasn't the only one whom was wanting to rob away the stallion apple. The other pony seem to leave the same time as the pegasus, the street lamps caught her tail color being a mix of pink and purple.

The pegasus sat on the steps of an old run down building, having to stop and catch her breath. The filly put down her saddle filled with juicy apples, the young filly stretch her body. Moving her head and closing her eyes for a few seconds.

It turns out those few seconds were just enough time that the pony whom had been following the pegasus needed. The pegasus eyes open just in time to see a unicorn filly with a coat that is white just like the snow. The unicorn's green eyes met with the pegasus purple ones, the unicorn stuck out her tongue before running away with the pegasus chasing after her.

It didn't take too long for the young pegasus to catch the unicorn by tackle the unicorn to the ground. The pegasus was lucky that the unicorn wasn't that fast with her hooves.

"Get off me!" She cried out, causing the pegasus to get off.

"You tried to steal my apples" the pegasus said, making the unicorn laugh.
"Yeah, they are only yours because you stole them first. I'll have you know that I had a much better plan to take those apples then just waiting under the table, but you just had to get in the way" the unicorn said, anger clearly showing in her voice.

"It not my fault that my plans suck, I'm quick on my hooves and fast that all I need" The pegasus stated, buffing out her chest in a proud way.

"It'll be much easier if I had somepony else" the two fillies said at once causing them to look at each other.

"Look this might crazy, but I'm great with planning but I lack speed while your great at speed but lack planning" The unicorn started

"So we'll work together and we will be unstoppable. We'll be partners in time" the pegasus said causing the unicorn to roll her eyes.

"Crime. Partner in crime, not time." The unicorn corrected.

"Whatever, do we have a deal?" The pegasus question spiting on her hoove and holding it out.

"Deal" the unicorn said, spiting on her own hoove to have be shaken with the pegasus.

"The name's Scootaloo"

"I'm Sweetie Belle"

"Well Sweetie Belle from this day on-ways we're partners until the end" Scootaloo said, wrapping her leg around Sweetie's neck.
