    Whoo... Happy Nightmare Night!

So it's Nightmare Night, again. Little kids everywhere demanding candy and wandering in their poorly made costumes, when it's literally freezing outside.
Oh and let's not forget about the brony fandoms Nightmare night specials, all the collabs, the animations, the vlogs it's like Hearthswarming Eve only with i don't know pumpkins or something.

This time with Maledictum Insania by Nero Darkard

Again the start of an epic trilogy. His first story already had an impressive word count of 192.000 with a total of 36 chapters including 3 endings and 3 Spoiler images with a picture and a little bit of text of what to expect for the next few chapters.

    FanFic Thoughts #1

So my first Blog entry, nothing really special, with this series of Reviews i want to share my thoughts about my favorite Fanfics.
Starting with Silent Ponyville by SamRose
His first and shortest entry into his Silent Ponyville series, with only about 30.000 words it is a little bit too short for my taste. Nonetheless it was a great experience.

FanFic Thought #2

This time with Maledictum Insania by Nero Darkard

Again the start of an epic trilogy. His first story already had an impressive word count of 192.000 with a total of 36 chapters including 3 endings and 3 Spoiler images with a picture and a little bit of text of what to expect for the next few chapters.
It starts with the everyday life of Twilight and her friends but this peaceful life would soon begin to crumble, starting with the secret mission of the reaper Obsidian Shards and his arrival in Ponyville.
What exactly reapers are is explained well enough to be believable, but for those who want to know more about the origins of the reapers, i would recommend reading his later published prequel Maledictum Insania: The Creation, which will be linked below as well.
The story really stands for its Mature Tag, there's much violence and gore right from the beginning, but even for the faint-hearted readers it isn't too much.
The deaths and the torture scenes aren't going too much into detail, but are still enjoyable for the gore fans out there.
Now to the plot, my favorite part in this story the pacing is great, the mysteries and plot twists remain hidden until the very end and he avoids too Out-of-character moments. Speaking of characters even though it's his first try he got them near perfectly in my opinion. Even the most important OC acts as if he would be part of the official canon.
His spelling and paragraphing are as good as you would expect them from a professional story.

Characters: 9/10
World building: 8/10
Plot: 8.5/10
Writing Style: 9/10
Length: 9.5/10

Final Rating: 44/50 Amazing story

Wow, thanks a bundle. It means so much to me to get this much acknowledgement. I really really worked hard on the series.
