tl;dr: Slow, but I'm still alive.
Bit more in-depth ramblings and the look ahead below the break.
Ok, so...to put it bluntly, August was not a good month for pony. I've been busy, and sadly not with writing so much as as work and trying to take care of Bubble while she's recovering from hurting her leg. When you add that to my own health issues and the inherent fatigue, you get a seriously over worked Fuzzy. I'm at work as I write this, taking a break from animating a new video. That animation and working on getting the graphics for the 2017 calendar has eaten up the monster portion of my free time and processing power. Frequently literally as I have to shut down all the other programs(browser, skype, music, etc) just to move things around in After Effects.
Bubble's doing okay now, and by that I mean able to walk short distances without screaming. Back at the beginning of the month, not so much. It's still a slow going process and hopefully we will know better what is going when the test results come in. But that has re-balanced daily chores heavily onto me, and I'm not complaining here, but I'm just as broken as she is. Chores take up all of my energy and I've passed out at my desk a lot because of it. We are both seeing a chiropractor now and that is helping.
But I HAVE gotten some things done and moved forward on a couple of writing projects. So, enough with the bad bits, let's talk stats and good things!
Let's see, in August I released 4 new stories, made 15 blog posts, gained 19 new followers, and lost 10 or so. Still an increase though!
First of all, I've finished Alicorn Switcheroo completely. Chapter 5 is still with the editor, but he's busy with a new job and other life stuffs, so the last couple of chapters might end up with a different editor if he can't find the time to tackle it. Alicorn Switcheroo accounted for the bear of what I did write last month, as you can see below:
Overall production was low, almost 3K less than July's total. That's honestly not too bad and easily recovered. What's bothersome, to me, is my drop off in daily writing. Far too many of those days marked 'none' are days where I fell asleep in my desk chair only to be woken up later by a passing house pet and then hauling my carcass into bed. Blah.
Anyway, you can see that my new goal and focus is A Dazzling Sunset. I want to get that back on track and back to regular updates. I am also trying to work on My Little Dynamite, Chemistry, Spicy Tuna Roll and others. Dazzling Sunset and MLD are the primaries though.
So you've got new chapters of an older fic coming, new chapters for Dazzling and Dynamite, more crackships and even a little clop on the near horizon. Should be an interesting fall season here in Fuzzville.
Stay classy.
