Thank You Very Much · 2:11pm Aug 30th, 2016
I want to take this blog to thank everyone who read my story Saying Goodbye. What started out as a very random idea has become a truly enjoyable journey and experience. All of the comments and feedback has been wonderful and I appreciate everything. All told, this is easily my favorite story I have written so far and may very well stay that way for a while. Even seeing the story appear in the feature box a couple of times, for however short a time, is just a small thing that could not have happened if it were not for all of the readers and your support.
When I first concieved the idea, it really was a random thought of blending Winnie-the-Pooh with My Little Pony. And since then, so much has changed from the original idea. I actually considered having Twilight Sparkle as the main character who recieves the blank book from Sunset after she found it at a yard sale. I had thought of a pretty happy tale of Twilight taking an adventure with the Winnie-the-Pooh characters, learning more about friendship along the way. But that all changed after I took the time to read the first two classic Winnie-the-Pooh books and actually began writing.
As I wrote the first chapter, the focus quickly centered on Sunset and stayed there. After that, the story became about Sunset's struggle to understand friendship and even dove a bit into a possible backstory for her. So much more emotion came out of the story than I ever expected and I am thankful that all of you readers enjoyed it. I know I did.
I want to leave with a bit of advice. As you can see, a story can change very easily and I truly think that what was written with this is far more than the original idea. So if you have an idea of your own, don't sell yourself short and don't be afraid to follow an idea where it wants to go when you planned something different. You may find something far grander.
Once more, thank you all so much for taking the time to read my story and for all of the positive comments and general feedback. Thank you so much for everything.
Goodbye's not forever.
Note: I was thinking. do you play Deponia before?

4181788 Thank you.
4181761 Deponia is a point-and-click adventure game following the misadventures of Rufus, a guy with wild dreams of escaping his village Kuvaq, located on a junk covered world called Deponia. Of course you never hear of it. it was from German.
Better not spoiler.
