Well, damn. I actually have people following me. I find that pretty incredible considering how new and raw I am to writing. So...updates, right.
Chapter 5 of The Bridle Path is being worked on. I'm still getting everything written so that I can then re-write into something that makes intelligent sense. I work and have 3 kids. So, as you can imagine, my days are pretty full. I write in the evenings, when things are quiet and I'm happy to get 400-800 words I'm happy with down.
As to the plot. It will definitely continue to be a slow descent for our heroine. Picture her on a roller coaster. There will be highs and lows but the overall trend will be downwards. To my mind, true evil is not destructive. True evil tries to convert good into becoming evil. True evil is patient. It is seductive. And make no mistake. Our heroine is in the grip of something that is True Evil.
On other notes, just got in from work at the alpaca farm
and caught the new episode. As someone who started playing D&D with the old red box this was awesome. Okay, time to get back to it. Shout outs to Damaged, who I look upon as something of a mentor figure here and to Cross Lament, who raised an excellent plot point that I will be addressing in Chapter 6.
Lawful Evil at its best.
Oh, and if you like D&D, and ponies, then I would be remiss if I didn't show you this, Ponyfinder!
Yes, today's ep almost seemed like an ad for it, which is adorable. We are working on a new version of the game for 5e D&D too!
