Quick question: Is it ok to call the pony planet/world 'Earth'? I have a paragraph that I want to say something like "brought Twilight back to earth" but I don't know if that's right, since it's not EQG.
I know some people have called it 'Equus' but I'm not sure that sounds quite right here.
Any suggestions?

it depends on what kind of story you're writing. The lighter a stories tone is, the more okay it is to skimp on wordbuilding. The darker the tone, the more important it is. I'd say its fine.
