Sneaky Jules Writes a Blog at Midnight To Skew the Results to a Question · 4:28am Aug 24th, 2016
First the old business: For the fifteenth or so time "I am back and writing and etc." but we'll see. I am writing Masks in another tab right now, but this chapter hasn't really done it for my motivation in the past. Maybe now that I've changed its role in the overarching plot (which I assure you, is a real thing) I'll do it.
Now the new-ish: I'm thinking about rebranding again. Mainly because when I first named this account Jules Winnfield I had no intention of writing and honestly don't want the (best) character from a(ny) Tarantino movie to be what people know me as. I'm thinking something more Will Arnett because that man can do no wrong and his shows are amazing and I really want to do a Vinyl Scratch story inspired by either Flaked or Bojack Horseman or both or two separate stories and...
I ramble at midnight, sue me.
So I guess the question here is should I rebrand or keep Jules?
Followup: I'm not gonna call myself Will Arnett, but out of Chip, Bojack, and his actual name I also don't really have a good username.
Yay for only opening my notifications once a week!
I think Jules is just as good as any other film/tv-related username you could pick, really. The only thing that could really make a difference worth changing for (if it were me, anyway) is if the new name was more iconic. And just shortening it to "Jules" would do that just fine, I think, and also disconnect you from the character without connecting you to another one.
I actually have a huge backlist of usernames I wish I could use for things, if I were a less-cosmological cattleman.

Fun Fact: I have two spare accounts to store the usernames "The Human Shitpost" and "The Cunninglinguist" in case I ever go back to my old usernames.
