Imagine being at work and you get that call you dread.
My friend Vince called me from the hospital, saying Kat was acting really strange. Against the fact Kat is scared of hospitals, he took her there anyway.
So when work ended, I rushed over there to get the full details.
And.... Vince told me she was really dizzy. Said something strange... And here I quote her.
"Three ducks in an orange fish pond."
And Vince said she passed out cold. Been out for several hours.
I learned a little later she actually didn't even eat anything at all. What was strange though is that she was wearing long sleeves. Kat doesn't normally wear long sleeves.
But then when the doctor looked her over, we saw what the sleeves were hiding.
And now I see why she didn't want the doctor to see it.
I honestly think this would fit under self torture.
Anyway, she was very dehydrated.... And they ran some tests on her, since she was still kinda sick.
Found out it was caused by what she was hiding. Nothing more than a serious infection. Sadly.... I need to have a serious talk with her about this. Maybe have her see a psychiatrist.
So she got some antibiotics for it. Since they knew her well, since she had overdosed herself before by accident, they told me to make sure that doesn't happen.
Well, Kat wasn't happy when she came to.....
And a few choice words were said...... A lot of them were really colorful.
Needless to say, she was released from the hospital in a very bad mood.
Vince drove us home, and the silence in the car was deafining.
Once we got to Vince's house, I tried to talk to Kat.
Bad mistake.
Perhaps she won't be mad at one of her closer friends. She is, (And I quote from Kat herself) "Madder than a wet kitten in a mailbox."
I...I'll just stay a safe distance while her anger burns itself out.
That's really strange. I hope she's alright.
Please let her be okay...
It's important that she had gotten to the hospital when she did, and I'm glad that she's still alive and starting to recover. But don't keep to much of a distance alright, she's going to need you close by to help her when needed. And if she wants to be angry at anyone tell her to be angry with me.
And you know why I say that.
Aw. That sucks. I don't really know any of these people, but still, I feel sorry
Hold on tight. Everything will be fine. If you want to talk about it, I'll listen. :)
