Audio Reading - Hearth's Warming Eve In Canterlot

At the beginning of November, I was asked by TyriusTheVA if it would be alright if he did an audio reading of one of my older stories, Hearth's Warming Eve In Canterlot for Christmas. I said yes, of course, it's been a long time since anyone has ever

    It Finally Happened

About six weeks ago, after months of Cerulean Voice telling me to submit my newest story 'What Is Lost, What Is Found' to Equestria Daily I finally caved in and did it. I made a submission and now weeks later after not so patiently waiting I got a response. What's the verdict? Well...

    Surprise!

This will probably come as a surprise to most of you, but in case you haven't already noticed I published a new story late last night. Well, it was late enough for me and Cerulean Voice. He had just spent his entire Saturday going through and thoroughly editing my story. Our deadline was 6.00 pm tonight, so I think it got done just in time.

New Story and Youtube Gaming Livestreams

Hey guys, sorry for the long period of silence. I would like to say I've been busy but since the coronavirus has forced everyone into self-isolation, I've mostly been playing video games (Kingdom Hearts and Animal Crossing New Horizons) and chilling at home.

These Heartbreak Times Chapter 3 Out Now!

I've finally updated These Heartbreak Times, only took me three months to write, rewrite, proofread and have it edited. I'm hoping it won't be this long between updates anymore. Part of the delay has been hiring another editor and the fact that I've had to fly home for my grandfather's funeral.

So I know that nobody is going to read this

When I wrote that, I never dreamed that I'd live to eat my own words. The sheer number of you who flocked to my last blog post was quite surprising, I was pleased to see that people were still taking in an interest in my words. It makes me so happy, to know that people still know of my existence on this site and cherish it.

I am also rather surprised by the reaction to my latest story, Monsoon. To be honest, it only took me an hour or so to write and I was taking my Mother's advice when I did. She told me that I need to let the story write itself, let the words flow through me rather than from me. As it would turn out, she was right. Despite a few minor grammar mistakes and a few vague closing words, people seemed drawn to my little story and this, has made me very happy.

I'd like to say thank you to those of you who took the time to read it, I deeply appreciate it.

So I guess you're all wondering what's next for this little, unknown writer? Well, its time I started work on the second chapter of TBHT but in the mean time, I'd like to keep writing more stories like Monsoon. I had fun writing it and while I would like to write something a little longer, I still think keeping it under 3,000 words would be best.

After a three month break, I'm ready to come back. And I think I've made my long awaited return quite...successfully?

I'm still yet to watch the newest episode but I'm hoping to get around to it this afternoon, accompanied of course by a warm cup of tea.

I've learnt that every story I write, it doesn't have to be especially memorable it just has to be filled with my emotion and my perseverance to keep improving. Because I know one day I'll make it big on here... one day...

Until then,

~ A
