So, the BronyCon story should be up right now! If you want to read it, it's right here. It's not the exact story I published because I made some minor changes to make the dialogue and prose flow better, but I like to think it's better.
I'd like to let everyone know that I'm working on my own original fiction these days. I'm not quitting fanfiction, I still have a few little pony stories kicking around in my head, but fanfiction's not going to be the focus of my writing anymore. I'll have more on my original fiction later, but right now, I feel comfortable in saying a couple of things if you're curious:
Its style will be similar to my other writings. I'm not going to be writing big action heavy things now that I'm trying to go "legitimate." It will still be these stories about everyday people going about their lives in a fantastic setting. While they're might be some world-saving happening eventually, it's mostly going to be the story of people going about their lives, relating to each other, and getting into odd situations.
It will be at least partly set in our world. You know, the one we live in right now. Where there aren't magic talking horses.
It will be published online for free. Like most people below a certain age, I want the majority of my work online where anyone can read it. I'll have a patreon set up so people can support me if they want to, but I feel kind of weird asking people to pay me up front. I don't have the hosting website ready yet, but you had better believe that when it's up, there'll be a blog post here telling you all about it.
