A Story that Needs to Happen · 5:44pm Jul 24th, 2016
There are a few stories out there that take place after "The Last Roundup" and involve Rarity getting some kind of revenge on Rainbow Dash for what happens near the end.
And I don't think Rarity would ever do those kinds of things, no matter what. At least not to one of her best friends. The most she'd do is probably yell a bit.
So, one story that I'd love to see someone make (I'd make it myself, but all I can come up with is this general plot synopsis) is that a few hours after Rarity and Pinkie meet up with the others again (whether it be in Dodge Junction or back at Ponyville, whichever the writer feels is best), Rarity starts to yell at RD, but she manages to convince her to let her explain why she did what she did. After hearing the explanation, Rarity tears up a bit and declares that RD is off the hook. The story ends with another group hug.
That might seem like bias talking, but that is how I genuinely think the direct aftermath of TLR would go, at least on that end of things.
...I think I've seen a story somewhere, an AppleDash ship, where Dash briefly contemplates "even forgetting all about Rarity and Pinkie Pie because she was so relieved to have Applejack back", or something.
Don't ask me what story that was, though.
Must've been years ago when I read that, and it was just that one scene!
...Oh, by the way, thanks for the favourite.
4138344 The funny thing about this journal is that shortly after I made it, I found someone who was taking requests, and was able to get a story with more or less the same overall premise
If you're willing to check it out, here's the link: https://www.fimfiction.net/story/339914/yes-darling-could-i-have-a-moment
And you're welcome.
4138346 Funnily enough, this story was already on my "Read Later_Now" list.
And I don't even remember adding it.
4138538 That's kind of weird.
Or Rarity simply tells RD "I'm getting you back" every day for the next week, never does anything, and watches RD have a nervous breakdown.

That might work too.
Just as long as the two make sure there are no hard feelings.
