So, you are probably wondering where I am right now. Playing Overwatch mostly. New chapter is on the way and a new request is being proofread but emotionally? I don't know. I've been having some doubts about my place in the fandom and today I felt instrospective and I wanted to share some thoughts about the show and the Comicon panel, so here's some spoilers and some thoughts about them.
-About the new episode: Meh. I'm not crazy about Patton Oswalt.
-Twilight going to the Wonderbolt Academy: Kinda worried about that one because, this is only speculation mind you, I wouldn't like her being good enough to be one of the most powerful magic users and a Wonderbolt on top of that of that. On the other hand, she may go there to teach or even learn about it but still, not thrilled because I don't like Wonderbolts episodes as a general rule.
-More CMC: Always good.
-Rarity episode from multiple points of view: That's going to be so awesome. Why is that? I have a hunch and I'm a wizard.
-Sunset Shimmer being in Equestria? Come on, stop teasing us already. We like her now. And Equestria Girls. I finally saw Legend of the Everfree and I could get behind it. I liked it more than the first, at least.
-Zombie ponies: FINALLY.
-Also, following the advice of a friend, I rewatched some episodes I didn't like. My opinion on Flutter Brutter has changed dramatically: Not only is finally a good use, if not the best use of Fluttershy, Zephyr's character arc, seen from a different perspective was really deep. It's officially in my top 15 episodes. Newbie Dash...Meh. I like the part where Rainbow goes crazy but, again, Wonderbolts being jerks yadayada.
I agree with most every thing you have stated here Damocles23 but please do not forget we now have at lest one changeling going full time in the show and as spikes friend.
and I will jump on the band wagon and hope for the final this season being a changeling episode.
4108753 Oh, yeah. I totally forgot. That has lots and lots of potential. In fact, if it's played well I could like it the same way I liked the season five finale. It's a delight to see the redemption of a villain.
