The first Fluttershy chapter has been updated. I imagine this will be the last major change to an early chapters. I might fix up other little things, but nothing worth making a blog post about. Hopefully these fixes will make the beginning of the story more appealing to new readers.
In other news, I started working on an actual book. It's definitely more of a challenge than fanfiction, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I think I have a good enough story. I just need to make it come to life. I would say the biggest challenge is creating the setting and characters from scratch. When it comes to fanfiction or tabletop gaming (I wrote campaigns before I got into fanfics), you already have a basis that you know people like. When creating absolutely everything myself, I don't only have a story to sell, but an entire world and cast of characters. I actually want to take a step back from writing and focus only on the characters for a while.
In the meantime, I still have A Dream of Sunny Days to finish. Remember to comment if you enjoy the story. It might sound cheesy, but it does mean everything. This isn't just for fanfiction, but all content created for free. A lot of effort goes into it, and really, the only reward content creators get is feedback. Even if it's just a line saying, "Cool chapter, I liked it," it means more than you realize. Don't get me wrong, I still love writing, and will do it regardless, but it's infinitely more rewarding when people take the time to say something rather than take the story for granted.
