Coming Eventually: Throw It All Away

Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Well, as promised, I'm here with some information on my new humanized Shadow the Hedgehog Displaced story, hereby titled "Throw It All Away," which by the way will be rated M for Mature, and contain the following shippings:

Shadow X Rainbow Dash

Implied Shadow X Maria (the Displaced guy also inherits Shadow's memories.)

And implied King Sombra X Princess Luna (this, obviously, was before King Sombra turned evil)

The story opens a full five years before Princess Luna's banishment, with both Princesses waging war in the Crystal Empire against King Sombra. After both Princesses are knocked out cold, our humanized Ultimate Life Form enters the fray and wields his own sword against the Crystal Usurper, and actually comes close to winning until Sombra nails him with a powerful blast of magic that knocks Shadow clear into the frozen tundra outside the Crystal Empire. Despite having a few broken ribs and some internal bleeding, in addition to feeling a little punch-drunk, Shadow is otherwise unharmed by both the blast and the fall, much to Sombra's chagrin. He engages Shadow in sword combat once again and soon stand triumphant over the Ultimate Life Form... only for Shadow to reveal that he was just buying the Princesses some time to regain consciousness so they can finish Sombra.

And, well, if you've seen the Season 3 premiere, you know what happens next.

Fast forward to A Canterlot Wedding. It starts out with Princess Celestia about to pronounce the wind-up toy soldier formerly known as Shining Armor and Queen Chrysalis husband and wife, but once Celestia gets her ass kicked by the exposed Chrysalis, instead of having the Mane 6 go get the Elements of Harmony, she instead sends them to her chambers to procure a set of instructions, which leads the group to the treasure vaults to secure a chain necklace with a large emerald pendant, before sending them into the castle dungeons to locate a sealed door. Once inside, the Mane 6 places the gem into a console and imput the code "Maria," thus awaking Shadow from suspended animation. Once Shadow has all of his gear ready, the seven of them fight their way back into the throne room, where Shadow fights Chrysalis and emerges the victor. Thus ends the first chapter.
