Batmare Begins: Chapter Update and Fan Art!!! · 12:47am Jul 5th, 2016
Good evening everypony! First of all, Happy 4th of July to all my fellow American readers! I hope you've had a wonderful and happy Independence Day today, and maybe gotten some good food in your belly and good times with friends and family. Second of all, I wanted to give ya'll a short update on chapter progression for Batmare Begins. The fic is still most certainly on, and while the update is taking awhile, I promise you it's going to be a big one; I'm over halfway through it, it's already over 25,000 words long, and in the end will most likely end up being a four chapter update when I'm done and ready. So thank you for your continued patience, hopefully, with how the chapters are shaping up so far, it will be worth the wait. 
Thirdly, I'm very excited to present to you the first ever Batmare Begins fan art, done by my wonderful friend and fellow Poniverse staffer Sapphfyr!!! 
This is art of Derpy Hooves and Time Turner during their first meeting and breakfast with each other in Chapter 13, Tabula Rasae, Part 1, and it turned out absolutely splendidly if I do say so myself. 
I'm also very pleased to announce that it was featured today, shortly after getting posted on DeviantArt, on none other than Equestria Daily right here! Wonderful work Sapphfyr, congratulations on the well-deserved accolades, you deserve them all, each and every one! 
This was a $25 commission, very fair rate for what I got, and Sapphfyr's a wonderful artist and great to work with in putting a commission together, so if you haven't checked his art out before, you should most definitely take a look at it here and consider ordering a commission from him. For as skilled an artist as he is, he's got great rates and has a knack for drawing adorable ponies. What more could you want?
