The yearly holiday with the family this year is taking us to the concrete jungle of New York, USA and the streets of Brooklyn for nearly two weeks. Fly off tomorrow morning for the Big Apple or whatever ridiculous nickname it has.
I'm not overly looking forward to it. New York to me is just London on steroids. My mum and sister are interested in shopping (which'll just be overly expensive and more luggage to take home) and my dad wants to see some American football stadium there as well as the 'Freedom Tower' One World Trade Center as well as some stuff at Coney Island.
My plans for the trip? Take a shit in Trump Tower and punch off the bastard's transplanted hamster hair if he's in.

4063944 I know I sound like a right dick, but big cities have never been my favourite thing. It's the crowds. I can barely handle London as it is so being in a completely foreign crazy land such as New York in the US feels like a leap.
I'd recommend London or Nottingham if you ever want to experience city life I guess. The stereotype that everyone is a stone faced wall is a Ive the top and everyone is more than happy to tip their hat in passing or help when in a pickle.

4064798 my first time (if Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Orlando don't count) was when I was maybe seven and I went to Chicago with my grandparents. We went to see Sue
