Favorite thing about writing what I want to see in a story- the good comments. Sure I really haven't updated I Don't Believe In The Sun but it's a real fun time when people like it. And sure its kind of like Fallout Equestria because explaining it to a person I know well enough to actually want to share said it sounded kind of like fallout but fallout equestria's so big it can't hog up all the spotlight. But even better that this story that all you guys like for it being only a chapter is based on a comic.
And here's where I would at least say to check out Wasteland (the 2006 Oni Press comic, because somehow DC had a completely different horror title in the late 80's under that name) at least online sites- but weirdly enough it does not exist in the piratey expanse of online comic sites which are a thing because that's the internet for you and collecting comics is expensive. I should know I do a bit of that in those omnibus collections so they are even more of a chunk.
Best bet I'd say is Amazon or maybe local comic shops maybe- Amazon has the hardcover stuff of the now 5 collected volumes in that version but 27 dollars or so a book adds up (and I haven't gotten the last one since that came out more recently)
And no they are not in color- most of the comic isn't- its close to Sin City in that way just without the few color bits but the tone of the world is where I got the idea from.
Well besides the giant Alicorn killing mechs and stuff like that- that's more anime and whatnot. Sure that's dumb and everything but hey it was created by Twilight and has she ever done something that's way overkill?
Yes. And most of the time it seems for me I tend to overplay Twilight's mad scientist controlling nature for the heck of it and I don't know why that alternate character interpretation works so well but hey I think Twilight has her crazy controlling moments and why not make her the leader of a Minister series.
And if people notice the Minister titles seem like something out of 1984- good for you that's the tone of the story I'm going for in Canterlot.
Also this is an AU of if Nightmare Moon came back and its not going to be easy.
Also I've hinted what Cadance has been doing if you vaguely read the hints.
Also ironically only the first two chapters don't have the word "Sun" in their titles. I guess I really wanted to hammer home the fun in the sun.
