Update on chapter 2 · 4:20am Jun 18th, 2016
Hello, everyone who might care to read this.
I realize it's been far too long since I updated Father of a Thousand Sons, in that I technically never have. I thought that chapter 2 would be much easier to write than the first due to having far less adventure and far more dialogue. Unfortunately, it turns out I just can't get it to feel right and so I've been through a few rewrites and long periods of lacking the motivation to even try. Combine that with Fire Emblem: Fates coming out, building a Necron army, and upgrading my desktop to play Witcher 3 and Total War: Warhammer and you end up with a few months before a new chapter. I would like to apologize for the delay and thank everyone who's cared enough to ask after it, since it gives me the motivation to write for at least a little while. I'm hoping to have my brother keep me on track this weekend and we'll see where we are by the end of it.

It is rather funny that with the exception of Witcher 3 I have those exact same things eating up my free time. Of course I do not have to apologize for that since I'm not ready to write a story here. I do have a basic concept and idea in my head but that is far from enough for me to start one. Lack of further story line ideas and even halfway decent writing skills are not a combination that keeps me from even starting.
That you have gotten anything done at all and the quality of what I have seen so far has earned you me respect.
I honestly hope that you'll find the time and motivation to give us more to read.
I honestly thought that I shouldn't bother you about it and that you would get to it eventually.
