Feedback Needed!!

Soooo... I started this new fic, a human in equestria fic, and it's getting a TON of backlash, and I'm super worried. While it has been pointed out it might heavily have to do with the lead being a non stereotypical black female, I'm hoping that isn't the only reason why.

This is a no holds tip and feedback blog post, no uncensored and unbridled. Let me know what you think, if you want to say "The story was great! But I don't like the characters." You can say that, if you want to say, "Fuck you and your story! There's weed and booze in it!" At least you're pointing out something useful, if you say "Fuck your n**** of a lead character, should be (whatever race) and (whatever gender)!" Although I doubt that should be the BIGGEST issue, you can say that, so long as I know what is happening here so that I may "rectify it" in the future.

By that I mean never write another HiE fic in hopes of challenging the genre, since it seems it's a very... fickle genre, like bringing a banjo into a street rap mix,like there are things you want, and there are things you don't want in a story, and if you don't want weed, booze, raunchy low brow jokes mixed with real world cultural views and an existential external world view of society as a whole represented by colourful magic ponies, then you don't want it, but at least I'll know what it is that is holding the story back.

With that, I will still be completing it (likely saving it to my computer) and posting regularly in hopes of changing the minds of those that seem to be put off. I will also be changing the cover art, as not to allude to who the character is, if the lead is indeed the reason for all the backlash.
