Why?

So, first off I'm really wondering if anyone will read this. I have little idea how the social interactions work on this site. (might account for my low views)

Second, I just got done rereading the first chapter of "Shadows of Starlight". It made me cringe. I really earned those three down votes and am kind of scared to look at my other published chapters, again. Simply dreadful first impression to make on my readers. I wasn't really thinking about going back and revising anything until I was pretty far along or even done with the story but I wont let this stand.

In light of what I read I will at least be re-editing the first chapter. I'm not looking to change anything, just fix some grammar issues and improve the flow of reading. It got pretty bad in spots and am filled with shame for being such a basic fan-fic writer noob.

On a more positive note I was thinking of doing a full-blown Fallout: Equestria story after finishing "Shadows" and a short story I'm working on. I figure the world of FO:E would be the perfect place to go next since I'm already working with a diet version of it. Would the like two people who read this be interested?
