Update + Story Progress

Hey there, everypony! Didn't mean to be quiet for so long. Me and my friend are just being buzy (and considerably lazy, as always) on our story progress. But before I delve too far into that, let me give you a bit of info that's been going on over on my side. (This is the user, Feather Note, not AlicornPriest, by the way, but he's been doing pretty good too. Looking for jobs mostly and allthewhile lazing about on YouTube. Just like me)!

So my first year of college is finally done with.

Absolutely hooray! I'm happy that my first year is over. Now I only have three or four more years to go. Other than that though, I too have been a bit busy with job searching. I just applied for one a couple days ago. (So I'll see if I can get this one or not. Just to warn you, it may take away time from my writing, but possibly not by a lot). Everything is going fine over here, although now I'm positively bored of everything at the moment. Honestly, I like school quite a bit. It's fun and I get to hang with friends there. On a small minor note, I'm volunteering for a program at my university called "Global Partners". It's basically where you get to hang out with a foreign student (your choice from where) and be like their buddies throughout half of a semester. So that's going to be a lot of fun!

Now for the stories. As of late, Twinkling Gem's sequel has been taking a bit of time. More or less, I believe I am at least halfway through planning, although I am, at the moment, completely unsure about that. It's only been recently that I got out of a particularly big bump in the road with the process of the chapter's guidelines. (I won't get into the process of how I plan and set my story guidelines up, but it got caught in a particular hole that I've only recently dug it out of). It should go smoothly now (for the moment at least). As for the time? I'm still currently working on my other story on my other user, so that's also biting into the time I need for this one. But I'm taking the free time (or some of it) and devoting it to Twinkling Gem's sequel. So don't worry! It's not going to be dying here anytime soon! (In fact, although this is speculation, I believe the sequel will be a bit longer than the first. Maybe not by much, but I'm hypothesizing that it might be a bigger storyline).

For other news, I think I'll dedicate this user to more of the original ideas I had for fanfictions and leave my other one as mostly crossovers... well, this idea is probably more true than I realize, but hey, I could always do something original on my main user page as well, so there's that idea in mind. In fact, I am also working on another story at the moment (and boy do writers and authors have difficult times staying on one story at a time ). The story itself is still in the works and far from coming out of its rough draft phase. However, I will say I am thrilled for this one as well. But don't expect this one to come out first. I still have plans for bringing Twinkling Gem's sequel out first, so that one is still a high priority. As for an idea of its release... no clue as of yet. But hopefully once I'm done with my other story the pace of getting the sequel done will end up going much faster than the pace I have for it now.

And that's all I really have to talk about. Nothing much else to say, but I hope it's enough for you guys. Don't want to leave you all in the dark.
