Another Day, Another Chapter

What day is it? It's publishing a new chapter day.
I must admit the past two weeks crawled by for yours truly. As the new author on the block I cannot expect to be greeted with open arms and "Pinkie Pie" like smiles. Readers must decide whether or not I'm worth their time, and I cannot blame them. After all, I am writing an story made up of almost entirely original characters. So there's that.
With due time I hope that many of you will realize that I'm not just some podunk feel-good author who writes when it happens to suit him. I have been doing this my whole life, and though it does not make every piece I write an instant success (or even good for that matter) it should give some credibility to my name. I may not write what everyone is interested in, but I put heart into what I do.
Enough selling myself to all of you.
Please enjoy the next part of Dawn of Equestria. If you have already been following along since the original upload, you may notice so rather decent-sized edits were made to chapter one. This is bound to happen now and then as I adjust to the "publish as you go" lifestyle of Fimfiction. I will try to keep it to a minimum if I can.
