    Hey everyone!

That's right, I'm still here! I've been logging on nearly every day, and reading a few stories here and there.

I just haven't had much to blog about lately that's MLP related. I heard the news that season 9 will be the last. And to be honest, I'm okay with it. Everything has to end eventually, and trying to drag it out longer will only lead to terrible things! :rainbowlaugh:

    No explanation needed. :rainbowlaugh:

Just thought of this, and I had to make it.

So, I should probably explain why I disappeared.

First, I'd like to apologise to all of my friends that I carelessly left hanging in the wind here on this site. It definitely wasn't a nice thing to do, and I regret it immensely.

A lot has happened in the 2+ years I was gone, but the biggest thing to happen is that I was diagnosed with high functioning autism.

An update on my niece. · 4:08am May 28th, 2016

Remember when I said she was having seizures, and it was looking like she didn't receive any brain damage?

Well, she did. Her occipital lobe was damaged. The occiptial lobe is important to being able to correctly understand what your eyes are seeing.

So in short, she is blind. Fortunately though, it is something that — given enough time — can correct itself.

It can take as little as 6 months, or as long as 8 years. Since she is 1 year old, I'm hoping it will take care of itself fast since her brain has a lot of developing to do yet.

If it helps you at all, I had a stroke at age 6 as a direct result of a heart transplant, and have had no lasting damage whatsoever because it. I've had seizures myself since then, and we THOUGHT it was because of the stroke, but we found out it wasn't, and any MRIs I've had have shown that any trace of evidence that I even HAD a stroke are practically invisible.
What I'm saying is, even at the age of six, my body was flexible and still in a development stage that it healed itself to a point where the stroke may as well have never happened. With your niece being as young as she is, she may very well be in a developmental stage that her brain could just brush this stuff off and heal itself as well without there being any lasting damage. It may take a little time, but it can most certainly be a reality.
Have hope. My fingers are crossed for her.

3978292 I know there's nothing I can do, but if you need me I'm here.:applejackunsure:

That is exactly what I was thinking.

And you're proof that it can happen, which gives me hope.

Thank the lord that this may not be permanent, if you need to talk just PM me. i will keep your niece in my prayers. Have a glorious day friend.

I'm glad it can be fixed. I wish I could help better but sadly I don't know how:ajsleepy:
But I am really happy with how strong your niece is! So I'm sure it'll hopefully correct itself.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

I hope you have a wonderful day as well!

We've done all we can to help her, so at this point, all anyone can do is wait.

She is very strong!
