I hate it when it's revealed that after the cloppy bits, the female gets pregnant. When I think of pregnancy, I imagine a living thing inside me. Do you want to know how bad that is? I can't even get pregnant. It's biologically impossible for me, but I can still imagine it in full detail. Pregnancy is a major fear of mine, and it can't even fucking happen to me. That's like being afraid of drowning when you live in a desert.
Not only is it a fear, it's a turn off. If I want to read about two people fucking, I don't want to think about both, or maybe just one, of them having to take care of a baby because they were horny one night. When they were actually trying to have a baby, that's completely different. But, then again, how many clopfics have you read about two people specifically trying to have a baby? For me, zero (probably because it's a fear, but whatever. Actually, there's something I watched a while ago, but she had a thing going on where it was tough for her to get pregnant. I don't know if that counts. Either way, it kind of sucked. I don't remember what it was called.)
One night stand fics are particularly bad with this. How many one night stand fics have you read with a pregnancy happening after the fact? For me, a fucking lot.It's pretty much a cliche now. I've read great clopfics that were ruined by these kinds of endings. I've even read something where a guy got a pony pregnant, and another where a guy got a dragon pregnant. I'm pretty sure I read one where a guy got another guy pregnant.
It's safe to assume that I will never write something where she accidentally gets pregnant for no reason other than "it sometimes happens in real life." If I'm going to put it in, I'm going to play it realistically.
Is this a fetish that I just don't understand? Is it like that weird cow fetish?
(This was also going to be an update, but my situation hasn't changed at all. I mean, I have a cold now, but that's about it.)

Without pregnancy, humanity would cease to exists, it's as simple as that. I don't wish to sound disrespectful to you in anyway, shape, or form, but I've heard about many with this fear, and to me, it makes no sense. It's almost as if you're afraid of life itself, to fear pregnancy.
I always found it a wondrous thing, the continuation of life. One body, carrying two souls, it makes me tear up if I think about it too much. Women have a very crucial role to play, and in my opinion, the more serious of the two roles. A male is needed, yes, but past the consummation, it is up to the female to eat, sleep, and survivor for not just herself, but for another being, who is basically 50% her, and 50% of her lover.
Pregnancy is not something to fear, because for someone like me, it is a beauty to behold.
Also, was this the story that you were referring to?
Personally I don't mind pregnancy in clop fics, IF it is to set up for a sequel about raising said child. As much as I hate sequel bait that is one of the few exceptions.

3962958 I understand your points, but I still can't share your view. I'm not going to try to change what you think. I just see pregnancy in a different way than you. I would try to explain why I'm afraid of pregnancy, but I wouldn't want to risk making you afraid of it yourself. It's happened a few times.
And regarding the story, I haven't read it yet. Judging from some of the comments (I don't know why I read some of them before the story,) it's not exactly a clopfic, so I don't think that would count as a turn off. Pregnancy is also apparently a major theme of the story, so I wouldn't consider it bad just because pregnancy is a theme.
