Let's take a really good look at this. What I asked for was Flurry and Scratch staring daggers at each other. What I GOT was a billion times better. This is a scene in thee book that's going to happen much later. Keep in mind, UU has never read MLP:H&E, and he managed to nail a scene near the climax.
I love Flurry's expression. Panic, regret, fear. Looking at Scratch, trying to read his soul, and finding nothing there.
And Scratch is PERFECT. The suit, the smile, the suit, the eyes. The eyes were actually an edit, UU had him with more human eyes. It was my fault, I didn't make it clear. Luckily UU was extremely cool about the edit,and we got Scratch here. In all of his silver tongued hellish glory.
