    While Rocks Sleep

My nose itches and it's not dust. For all I know, well, the story I just submitted has not that much of a hook. You already know the usual stuff: HiE, rule 63, X does Y, etcetera. But I feel, it's still not quite 'moving' in any other interesting way. Disproportionate lack of dialogue may be a reason.

On convoluted, overly optimistic, witless stories.

Do not read ahead if you hate negativity, neuroatypical persons, logical fallacies and bad English.

I have an issue. It affects most aspects of my life, but that's already going into private fields. To aid in understanding, I will say I tend to edit the same thing about five to nine times, and it still smells bad after published.

In times like this I wonder how I should reveal the past; doing the negative number thing might be too silly, but placing them before spoils the whole story. There are only two points of view and there can be only one per chapter, so don't worry about too much confusion. Still, the sudden time skip between chapters might be distracting (even if they use different tenses and title naming).

This is the first story I'm not completely ashamed of writing. I can see the light at the end. It's a train.
