: Sunburst, your wife has cast you into a project entitled: Smile Pony Cure. I wonder what that is.
SB: It's about an evil spirit that tries to direct a fairy tale world to have its unhappy ending, but is stopped when the Queen uses the last of her energy to seal him away, and about a group of five girls set to stop him in its tracks.
: I've never heard of that concept before. It's completely original to me.
SB: It's a favorite of both my wife and my self.
: Fascinating. I've also heard that even though you admit to hardly being a talented magician, you are a highly regarded teacher of magic. What goes on when you prepare your magic lessons?
SB: Well, one thing is, I sometimes put the radio on and it plays the great hits of now. These are not the type the younger generation, that which would include my daughter, listens to. In fact Babs, these are the songs you have sung on your albums recently, tunes like ''Hey Jude'', which has its own unforgettable pleasance, ''Galveston'', ''Honey'', and, um, something that came to my mind thanks to the line God didn't make the little green apples..., y'know, they're tunes that appeal to me and my wife. My wife is very famous for records that appeal to me, and, in fact, has recorded some of the same songs.
: Her voice is absolutely beautiful in most every single respect.
SB: Yes it is. Sometimes my wife overhears me singing and passionately sighs. I sing sort of like an opera singer, along the lines of Mario Lanza or a Sergio Franchi. My wife believes that I also have a beautiful voice, and I do.
: Please tell me about your upbringing.
SB: I was born in Lyello, located some 700 miles from Manehattan, and almost the flip side of that city's coin, except that many important inventions and innovations in consumer products came out of where I came from, and on my trip to Manehattan, I happened to find a wonderfully talented woman by the name of Crescendo Hearts. We got married in 1958, we gave birth to a daughter in 1960, and the rest is history, really, including the aforementioned area where we could accurately be classified as being on the older side of the generation gap between ourselves and our daughter.
: Impressive.
SB: Indeed. My wife is one of the most exquisitely great talents of the older generation. Her theme song is ''The Sweetest Sounds'', and she is indeed home to some of the sweetest sounds anyone has ever heard.
: Coincidentally, I have had a wonderful friendship with her dating back to the time she met me in person after playing her copy of my first RCA Victor album back in 1960, when I was 10 years old.
SB: Yes, she happens to love your work. Don't ever stop singing. Your voice is too beautiful for you to give up on singing.
: I'm glad you're a fan of my work too.
