The way I work and what I'm doing. · 7:36am Apr 29th, 2016
I figured I could risk one last blog for the month of April, dominated by my Nyx and the Sunset Blogs. Well today is something different. For my one hundredth blog I'm going to share how I work. Why my stories are written the way they are, and what I'm doing presently.
If one reads my works, they will find that it looks incomplete, it doesn't read like a normal story would, sure it has words and paragraphs but it lacks a lot of what most normal books have. That's probably confusing. What I mean to say is; when I write, I always describe it as if it was a movie or anime. If you read close enough and picture how the fic would look if it was a Japanese Anime you can see why I write so strangely. In fact I highly recommend envisioning what you read as if you were watching an episode of your favorite anime or movie , that is the only way you can fully enjoy my works. Nyx and the Sunset is a prime example of this. This style is the reason I'm not as good as I hope to be.
What am I doing? Well right now, I'm awaiting re-edits of Chapter two of Fallout: Equestria - A Song of Angels to finish before I publish it. The chapter is finished but the mixed reception has called for re-edits and readjustments to be made to the second chapter so the story doesn't drag its feet. the FoE community is rarely kind to side-fics, especially ones as unique as A Song of Angels, a fic for which I have plenty of ambitious ideas for it.
So really, I've been playing games, seeing the updates on the site, checking for comments, lollygagging and loitering really, with a side of YouTube. I find it hard to work when I have something awaiting edits when I clearly have more I could be doing. Hopefully Moosetasm (my newest editor) will find time to continue soon.
With that said, I suppose I will continue with my other works until I am called upon to see the re-edits. I aim to get as much as possible done this year, and with luck, speed up the output of fictions and updates.
