Upcoming Story

So. There's probably no one who's gonna read this. But that doesn't matter. It's more for my own amusement.

A lot has happened since my last blog entry. First is the fact that Applejack's Assorted Love Songs is canned indefinitely. The lesson I learned there would be "don't commission someone for cover art before your first draft is done", though I don't regret the results one bit. In any case, I don't think any work will be done on it until such a time as when I feel like revamping the outline of the story so that I don't have any of the plotline tangles I have now.

Second, the LyraBon story--now titled Instruments of Heartache--has evolved beyond being a pony fanfiction. Nonetheless, no work will be done for that one either for the time being. I've planned for it being a collection of short stories, but I need to come up with an overall theme and organization first and I'm not really up for it right now.

I've not sat around doing nothing, though. Apart from finishing grad school and so on, I've also recently finished a story called And How Would It Be With Our Souls?, which is a story of unrequited love involving Fluttershy and Rarity. It's undergoing moderation as of this writing, and will be posted whenever it gets through that process.

I commissioned the cover art for the story from our very own Magello, so big props to him. Many thanks also to Merrick, Midnight Blaze, ZaRaapini, and Norm De Plume for helping me edit and offering invaluable assistance during the writing process.

I have two more projects in the pipeline in the planning stages. One's a romance featuring Vinyl Scratch and Octavia. The other is a political thriller featuring Pinkie Pie. They'll probably take a long, long time to write, but that's the fun of it, isn't it?
