Updates

For all of my two (make that three) followers, and for anyone who drops by because you saw me being a fool on the IRC chatroom, this is a brief update.

The RariJack story, Applejack's Assorted Love Songs, isn't progressing too quickly. I have about four chapters done, all of which will need some polishing up; work is intermittent but ongoing.

Speaking of which, I have secured my cover art for this story already. All props to the talented Karzahnii for offering this, "Rarity and Other Assorted Love Songs", at reduced price:

The LyraBon story has been separated from Assorted Love Songs, as my characterizations of Lyra and Bon Bon in this story will be too different to their personalities in Love Songs. This means almost everything I had down on paper for this story will go out of the window; I do have notes I can start from on my phone, but I will not be working on this much until I feel I'm at a good place with Love Songs.

I fear school may well kick my ass very hard this semester. Rest assured that I will finish the stories I have planned and started, but I have no way of guaranteeing any sort of speed.

On another note, I lapsed back into poetry yesterday after Ponyphonic's "Lullaby for a Princess" played through my head again and again from the moment I woke up. I wrote alternate lyrics from Luna's perspective. The important stuff in the description on that page are in the last two paragraphs, if you decide to visit.
