My Little Blog: What I Am Going To Do With The Cmc's Destiny · 12:06am Apr 5th, 2016
I'm rewriting it. ALL of it. I will begin editing either tonight or tomorrow. The Cmc's Destiny WAS my very first story and honestly I want to rewrite all of it so I can get my head wrapped around it again.
Things I will be adding/getting rid of
Okay! First things first I will write nearly every sentence over and strain for detail! I tried reading my first chapter over again and it made cringe BADLY. I will also be cleaning up the storyline a bit so that I can tie up any loose ends that may have been left over. I will make a lot of the different situations make more since, and add more flashbacks of the characters, so we can get more info about them. I kinda wanna draw or get an artist to draw a new cover photo for the story, since I kinda want my own cover pic for it instead of one I found in Google images.... It doesn't matter too much right now, I will be thinking about getting an artist to draw a cover image. (I may or may not be able to pay, I don't know)
One of the largest parts of the story that I am changing is that I will be removing ALL songs. If I do incorporate a song into the storyline, it will HAND WRITTEN (Not based off a pop song) and VERY UN-OFTEN. I might also talk to some people who may have song lyric ideas if I actually DO want to incorporate a song, but then again that is a big MAYBE. I figured out that songs are basically the WORST part of my fiction because of how I suck at writing lyrics and that it just sums up a big moment when really it should just be in nice details. For all of you that are worried that I won't update in a while because of this, don't worry. It actually won't take me that long to rewrite a chapter! 1/2 - 3 days a chapter actually! Depends on how much time I get in the day to write, or if I'm going to add a song, or something. And to any of you that are worried this may effect the storyline or change the story; DON'T WORRY AT ALL! I will only be rewriting the chapters so some things make more sense! None of the major story arcs will be effected! I do suggest no one reads the story as it's being edited, however. Reason being the chapter may end off somewhere that won't make sense in the next one. If you want to read, go ahead! But don't blame me if you get a little confused.
