This is just a theory, but what if the evil team of the new Pokemon games was called "Team Eclipse"?
Think about it! Sun and Moon are the new Pokemon games, and we all know that the legendaries are going to have something to do with the sun and the moon, so why not have an evil team centered around that? Both the sun and the moon can eclipse in a solar and lunar eclipse respectively, so why not have the evil team try to harness this power and use it for... I dunno, maybe the same thing Nightmare Moon was trying to do, which would be in Pokemon Moon. Only in Pokemon Sun, they would try to keep the sun up forever! Silly, I know, but it's a Pokemon game.
Why not also have them be competent? Team Flare, despite their admittedly entertaining dialogue, was FAR below some other teams in the past, with Lysandre being the only competent one there (and a really well-written character at that). Team Plasma was the most competent team so far, so why not expand on that and make these guys scarily intelligent?
Taking no nonsense with their objectives.
Collectively trying to accomplish the same thing without meaningless theft.
Having their boss called the "Mastermind" instead of just Boss.

Oh I get it, like shadow power. That'd really work out XD I remember in Ruby there was Team magma, and they wanted to make the world filled with only land, destroying all oceans and glaciers.
Aww... I was the possible(?) future remake of the two games would be Eclispe. I guess Twilight will do...

I can't believe it took me that long to figure that out. But this isn't about Pokemon sister games, this is about Team Eclipse, which is a FAKE evil Pokemon team. I don't know if this is confirmed or not, since we now virtually nothing about the new games.
Also, this new generation might actually be the sister game to Gen 6, sort of how like Gen 2 was seriously, actually, literally a sequel to Gen 1.
