Bad news last beccause you need to hear the good to get the context.

My parents went down to Texas to see my sister and her family for my nieces tonsil removal. So they got there safe and sound and gave my niece her... Birthstmas present... yeah, which contained a plush Derpy with a hand stitched mail bag my mother and I made. Well they went to get passes so they could stay on base and Derpy lost her bag.

It would have been easy to find given the amount of space present, but they figure someone wandered off with it. Which sucks, but at least Derpy is fine and now we'll just make a new bag.

Oh! I also got pictures! I got one of the kid and her Derpy plush, but I also got a picture of an edited pony. My niece has enough ponies that she has started changing hairstyles and cutie marks to make her own OCs. Specifically representations of her family. So I sent her a picture of my cutie mark after she asked what mine would be. For reference look at the picture of the knifed onion. So it turns out my niece made me an OC.

When she gets home I'm going to show her some videos of other folks altering ponies, because right now my OC is a cyan blue Pegasus with a rainbow colored mane and tail... and a knifed onion cutie mark... so... it is not a Rainbow Dash ripoff, right? but seriously I like to think that she chose Dash, because she sees similar qualities in me. Be nice, my niece is six.

Honestly though, I don't care, I always viewed myself as an earth pony, kind of plain, boring and unnoticed. I guess it's easy to see why people are not their own best judges of character. If only because one little girl thinks I can fly.
