That was created by the endlessly talented AnimatedJames, who recently recovered from depression. That's a topic for another day, however. Right now, this is a message to any artists out there of anything, be it music, animation, writing; anything. I know this is a small sentence to say, but believe me when I say it is important beyond belief.
"Never give up."
I know you've heard that phrase probably a million times, but those three words couldn't be truer. Never give up, ever. There will be moments in your life where you wish you could just kill yourself and end everything, but it's not worth it. There are people out there who will support you and love you even through your darkest of times. Sometimes that support can come from the unlikeliest of places, and sometimes that support may be so minuscule that it seems worthless.
But it's there. And it's there to help you.
So please, to anyone doubting themselves right now on if you should continue being an artist or even if you should kill yourself, know that there are people who will support you. Somewhere there's at least one person, and goddammit, that's more than enough to continue! Why? Because you're important to them, and I bet you that they're important to you as well. The reason this blog, and more importantly this video, is so important to me to be writing about it now is that I too have been having doubts if anyone appreciates my stuff. The answer is yes, I do. People who I love and thus love me back. People I don't even know have come to support me as well, and I am forever in your debt.
Well, that's all I got. Everyone have a great day, and if possible, share this blog and video. I don't want ANYONE to doubt themselves for a second. Everyone is special and amazing in their own way, and one day you'll find your calling or people who support you. SuperKamek out!
Those that are truly great don't always get the attention they deserve, while those that are undeserving get praised for things they really didn't have a hand in. Truly creative types are usually not understood in their own time, it isn't until one of the ages after that are usually recognized for the astounding individuals they are. It looks like we're getting better at noticing amazing artists (in all mediums) faster than prior ages, but it's still taking time.
I wrote a blog about this already but let me say it's amazing and has a great message plus me being a fan of him I know the characters and I love him for using them and for making Penny X August a thing *smiles*
