TL;DR: Blog posts coming every month so it doesn't seem like I'm dead.
Hello to all my followers, both new and old.
In the past, I would constantly post blogs, sometimes up to 3 times a day. About stories, about episodes, about general life. But in recent times, I've found other methods of venting this sort of stuff to others, and so, my blogs have fallen silent.
And that's why (as part of a new-year's resolution, I guess) I will be posting one blog on the 1st of every month, summing up everything that I wanted to talk about from that month. The reason for this is that while I don't want to overwhelm all of my followers with blog spam, I also want to maintain a air of professionalism and make sure my account never appears to be abandoned.
And so without further ado, let's see what happened this month...
The Show/Canon:
The swan picture was released to tease S6, and my opinion of it is summed up very simply by saying this: Well, I mean, it looks like Maud Pie is in the next season then...
And then... and then the foal was announced. And shown. I forgot her name, but I'm sure everyone is aware of how large her wings are. I'm going to wait until she's actually shown in the show to make final judgements, but all I'll say for now is that I hope they actually do something with those massive things.
I've also heard in passing that S6 is coming in northern hemisphere spring, so that's actually far closer than we expected. Yay!
My Stories:
I've been teasing a bunch of stories for ages now. All I've come out with is a shitfic and a clopfic. I've been writing, I really have, but I'm having problems doing so. It's a combination of me being a super-perfectionist, a shit writer, and a massive procrastinator.
The story I said I was doing ages back, has been in development and currently has about 8000 words to it's name. That's coming... at some point. I've also got that massive adventure story planned, which I am still trying to plan out, and, just recently, I've been writing another story.
Maybe you'll see it, maybe you won't. But to sum it up, it's a story that follows a little colt in school, and the story focuses on one word: imagination. And if you have just read that, then you've gotten a massive hint as to how the story will end.
But to sum it up, I'm trying guys. Words are (very slowly) being written.
