Rarity's Gets Cockroaches And Other Updates

I have been working on chapter 3 of Rarity Gets Cockroaches and it is taking an unexpected turn, not a bad one mind you but one that may have an effect on the story as a whole. It will still be the over the top Looney Toons style comedy I envisioned but it may also tackle a huge rather serious topic and that is racism. We have seen a few examples of racism in cannon so such a thing wouldn't be entire out of character, this was especially the case in the episode Bridle Gossip where Zecora where it showed an absurd degree of fear and paranoia against Zecora simply because she is a zebra.

So it is entirely believable that there might be a similar response to diamond dogs moving to Ponyville. There won't be anything extreme like cross burnings, lynching or ethnic slurs because I would prefer to keep the story at its E rating, but you will still get the message loud and clear. I am hoping to get chapter 3 published sometime within the next week or so.

In other stories my most recent submission has a youtube reading of it, if fimfiction still had NSFW blogs I would do one of those to announce this but you can just find the link in the description of the story in question. My Black Adam displaced may take a while because I must have changed my mind a million times over as to how to start that story, it is difficult for me to come up with a good beginning in general, but it is even more difficult to come up with a good beginning to a story of that nature. Also my vacation is over so that will eat into my time a bit, but I am considering stepping down to a lower position at work due to stress and other complex reasons that would take forever to explain and if that goes well I will get a better schedule.
