It Caaaaaaaaaame From The Convention! · 3:59pm Aug 21st, 2012
So over this past weekend I attended Everfree Northwest. It was kind of a trainwreck in terms of organization (first cons and all that), but an A++ in terms of good times. Can't wait for next year.
Anyway, I entered its Iron Author competition. The goal was to write, within 2.5 hours and under 2500 words, something involving everything listed below:
- A loss of greatness
- Ponyville's Clock Tower (which I actually had forgotten existed! I'm months overdue for a series rewatch)
- An item of lunch.
Holding On was the result, and it won the silver medal out of 11 entrants. Score! Please enjoy.
As for me, I've got a high-speed race to finish plotting in another window...

That does sound like a good time! I can't attend those myself, but ah well.
Good luck with your writing!
