    Change

Good morning everyone. I know I've been rather... inactive, and I'm sorry for that especially since I recently posted a new story. However, I have a reason for the absence. I have recently found work! A little over a month ago I began working at a place in town. What they do is basically cut and stack wood (fun...). It's rather hard and long work day, and I fairly dislike the work itself, but it

    The Last Laugh

Morning everyone, you know it was rather nice the past few weeks. The weather that is, the weather was nice. Had a few days where it was above 0, and a few others that were simply not bad. And right when we thought winter was almost over, she threw a snowstorm at us. At the current moment, the snow outside the door is at about hip height, there are spots off of the driveway that go up the chest.

    Happy Holidays

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to all of you who have followed me (If you haven't followed me and are reading this, I still wish you a Merry Christmas as well). Thank you all for giving me a chance, for liking what I put out, and thank you for being my friends (more so to those I'm in contact with on a more regular basis). I'll admit, it hasn't been a good year, namely since I've been

    Random Update #5

Ah... another one of these, been a long while since the last. So, first off, I'm done college! Well, not quite, still a few essays to write, but I'm done the classes and exams. And that was my final semester as well. Oddly, I can't say I glad to be done, it was one hell of a ride. I made a lot of friends, a few of which I consider to be good friends. Had great fun with the topics and the

College Problems · 1:19am Jan 20th, 2016

So, I'm back at college now, though I don't know for how long. It's not that I'm doing particularly bad at it, though I have failed two classes, it's just that things aren't lining up anymore. I'm lucky in the sense I only have five classes this time around, but that is where the biggest problem arises. I have three classes on Monday, and Wednesday. Then I have one class on Tuesday and Thursday. And then one class on Friday. This becomes a problem for the days I only have one class, I live nearly an hour away from the college. So, to drive two hours three days of the week for only one class, isn't exactly worth the trip. Also, I can't exactly drive myself even though I have a driver's license because my mother may need the car, also I can't afford to pay gas. I can't really carpool there either since my classes are in the middle of the day. However, I am going to have to carpool there, which means I'll arrive three hours early, at best, then I'll have to wait another five hours before I can go home again, and I'm not including class time. Effectively, I'll be at the college for roughly nine to ten hours for a single class. To add to this, the one day my carpool won't pick me up is the day I finish at five-thirty, half an hour too late for them. While I'm expected to wait hours, one person can't wait half an hour for me. Sadly, this is my only option at the moment, so I'm going to have ample free-time on my hands, though that's not a great thing. But, I'm not even sure if I want to keep going through with this because of the cost and the waiting. Sorry, if I seem like a bit of an ass for not willing to wait eight hours, but when I'm left to my own devices for too long my thoughts take a... dark turn.

So, the plan is to see if I can move some of my classes around, doubtful since I'm only taking the core classes this semester. If that fails, I'll try to stick to it, but it's likely I'll simply quit. Not forever, mind you, I'll only be taking some time to try and make some money so I can go back and finish. It just sucks that I might have to give up, not because everything is too stressful, but because I can't find a way to get there at a reasonable time. Well, that's my little rant. Honestly, I wasn't really keep you guys up to date, I just needed to get this off my chest. Anyways, hope you all are having a better time than what I am. Until next time,

Ugh. I've been there with crap schedules like that. I worked around that by hanging out in the library, lounge, or computer lab. Also tutoring. Tutoring is fun. I'd include doing stuff with APhiO, the fraternity I joined, but they usually scheduled stuff during my classes or other commitments.

Tldr - Try to find something fun on campus.

Wow, that schedule sucks...
I think Wandering has a good point, finding extra activities on campus. Or a bike? Don't have to worry about car pools then, saves on gas, get some fresh air and exercise too. Depends on how much stuff you have to carry though, and I'm not sure what attitudes towards cyclists on the other side of the pond are like...
Part time job maybe?
Just throwing ideas out there, hope it works out in the end for you though :pinkiehappy:

Or a bike?

I live an hour away from the college by car, on the highway. Riding a bike for upwards of two hours during the winter would kill me. But I understand.

But, you're both right, I'm gonna have to find something to do. I did just check and I can't change the time of any of the classes, so I'm stuck with what I have. I have plenty of time, most of which is in the morning, I could try to get a part time job somewhere on or around campus.
